1851Franchise.com began as a magazine that focused on current trends in the franchise industry. After managing and building 2 new versions over 2 years, I was then tasked with turning 1851 Franchise into a lead generation platform. The process involved planning, wireframe, Art Direction, project scoping and risk assessment along with managing an offshore development team, various content producers and multiple designers to achieve the end result we required.
Launching 3 months ahead of schedule, 1851’s new platform became a custom built (PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JS) platform with new user models that allows clients to set up and maintain their own custom dashboard. Features that are included on these dashboards include top level analytics, editorial calendar and content functionality (publish, draft, edit, delete), build custom micro-site(s), integrate social sharing across your social networks, contact form customization and many more.
